« La Tortue », Fresco by Veks Van Hillik at the media center of Fontaine, june 2017, by Léonard

Reading time : 1 minute

Here’s an old picture I found in my gallery. I did some research to find out some informations for the title as you can see above.

It represents a fish carrying a gray house with weird yellow windows. There’s also a ladder seeming to go towards a door inside the fish with stairwells similar to those in the entrance of the house.

I love this one because I am unable to understand it and I spend days trying to figure out the meaning of it, making multiple theories. It makes me explore numerous possibilities and interpretations which I can find quite interesting and entertaining.

As it is strangely entitled "the turtle", it makes me think about the disc-world created by one of my favorite fantasy author : Terry pratchet. This world is basically a disc on the back of a giant turtle standing herself on 4 elephants... I know it sounds strange.... You can go see by yourself https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworld_(world)
