a work of street art by KNOP, by Thibault

This work is a paint on a wall and a pilar by KnoP.

It was paint in November 2020 and it takes place Camille Desmoulins street in Grenoble.

There is no title.

It arouses a feeling of joy and tranquillity. Indeed, we can think there is a great weather, so it resends happiness. Moreover, this work remembers me a nice day passed with a friend.

On the right-hand side, in the foreground, we can see a woman on a bike. She wears a black dress with red roses.

There is a very important detail, is the only time when it’s possible to see another colour than black and white.  In the background, in the middle, there is a building with two trees. Then, on the left-hand side, there are trees again and a mountain in the background. The paint places on the pillar. This creates a perspective view.

We could say this work is minimalist because there is a few of colours.

In conclusion, I like this work because is simple. Indeed, the paint leave the place to imagination and a lots of interpretations.

This is such a great painting, i agree i find it fascinating how with only few colors you can clearly see the shapes of the objects such as the woman in the bike or even the nature around her. It shows that the artist that painted this has a great sense of how values work and the red details make the painting have a unique touch. I find the position for the mural very interesting since as you said there's a pilar infront of it which is also painted, i think this does help to give a more interesting perspective but it also makes me think of te difficulties the artist had to go through in order to achieve this painting. I enjoyed your choice and your description of the painting a lot!
